Dr. Trang Ly, Senior Vice President and Medical Director at Insulet Corporation (makers of Omnipod) will chat with LOOP and LEARN, via Zoom link below.

Dr. Ly is a leading expert in artificial pancreas and diabetes technologies and leads the Omnipod 5 (what we think of as Horizon) Automated Insulin Delivery System clinical program. Educated in Australia, formerly clinical assistant professor of pediatric endocrinology at Stanford University School of Medicine, prior to joining Insulet 4 years ago.

We will get to hear about the “Horizon” system algorithm as well as the timeline for this and other products in the pipeline. Perhaps she may even discuss Tidepool OmniLoop, inclusion of the newer tech infusion systems and Insulet’s view of the critical need for expert data analysis systems, for both healthcare providers and patients too!
